Gabbiano Chianti Classico DOCG is een karaktervolle rode wijn uit Italië, afkomstig uit het beroemde Chianti Classico gebied in Toscane, midden in het land tussen Florence en Siena. Deze wijn wordt voornamelijk gemaakt van Sangiovese, aangevuld met andere toegestane druivenrassen. Na de vergisting rijpt de wijn enkele maanden op eikenhouten vaten, wat zorgt voor extra zachtheid en diepte. Het resultaat is een klassieke Toscaanse rode wijn met een moderne, toegankelijke stijl.

In de geur ontdek je rijpe kersen, rode bessen, viooltjes en subtiele tonen van kruiden en hout. De smaak is soepel en mooi in balans met zachte tannines en een elegante afdronk. Deze Chianti voelt levendig aan in de mond en past perfect bij pasta met vleessaus, pizza, gegrild vlees of gerijpte kazen. Serveer op 16-18°C voor de beste smaakbeleving.

Wijnhuis Gabbiano
Castello di Gabbiano is een historisch wijnhuis in het hart van Chianti Classico en maakt al eeuwenlang wijn van topkwaliteit. Het indrukwekkende kasteel dateert uit 1124 en ligt tussen de glooiende Toscaanse heuvels vlak bij Florence. Team Verboon Wines had de eer om het wijnhuis Gabbiano te bezoeken in april 2026. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver.
