The original critically-acclaimed A War of Whispers is a competitive board game for 2 to 4 players. Five mighty empires are at war for the world, but you are no mighty ruler. Instead, you play a secret society that is betting on the results of this war while pulling strings to rig the results and ensure their bets pay off. A War of Whispers is a game of deep strategy, hidden agendas, and shifting loyalties.

A War of Whispers: Expansion of Influence is a new expansion that introduces multiple new gameplay elements, including:

• Rebalanced setup rules.
• The Orca Clan, an island nation of raiders that disrupts coastal plans, activating after the Horse Empire.
• The Guilds, which provide unique agent abilities, activating before the Bear Empire. 
• A fifth player, whose secret society is called the Sparrow Underground. To play with a fifth player, both the Orca Clan and Guilds must also be included for sufficient agent placement options.
• A double-sided board with customized scenarios and alternate setup rules for endless replayability.
