DoorBell is een videodeurbel met ingebouwde AI, PIR-sensor en bediening via apps. Het beschikt over tweewegcommunicatie, bewegingsdetectie en objectherkenning. Met de deurbel kunnen gebruikers gearchiveerde video’s en livestreams bekijken, en praten met bezoekers die zich in de buurt van het apparaat bevinden.

DoorBell is via Wi-Fi verbonden met het netwerk en kan worden gekoppeld aan een hub via de Jeweller en Wings communicatiekanalen. De opgenomen video’s kunnen worden opgeslagen op een Ajax NVR die is toegevoegd aan hetzelfde netwerk of via Ajax Cloud Storage met een abonnementsvorm.

Door de PIR sensor en ingebouwde AI detecteert het apparaat nauwkeurig bewegingen en herkent het mensen, dieren en voertuigen. De camera beschikt over HDR functionaliteit, waarmee gebruikers altijd een helder beeld van de activiteiten binnenshuis in uitstekende kwaliteit hebben.

DoorBell werkt naadloos, omdat Ajax Cloud wordt gebruikt voor het verzenden van systeemgebeurtenissen, terwijl de door Ajax eigen ontwikkelde JetSparrow technologie een snelle peer-to-peer overdracht van de videobeelden verzorgt.

Ajax camera's kunnen (op zeer korte termijn) vanuit de live videostream Automatiseringsapparaten bedienen, waaronder Relay, Socket, LightCore, OutletCore, etc

DoorBell kan op gelijkspanning of wisselspanning worden aangesloten waardoor bestaande bekabeling en voeding kan worden hergebruikt. Door middel van de BellKit kan een bekabelde mechanische of digitale bel worden aangesloten.
Ook kan een belsignaal via de sirene van de hub worden gegeven als de Doorbell is gekoppeld aan een hub waarop een sirene is toegevoegd. Er kan gekozen worden voor een, twee, drie of vier korte pieptonen.
