In het hilarische partyspel Sounds Fishy leest de rader een vraag voor. De rode haringen verzinnen daar een antwoord op, maar doen alsof dat het juiste is. De echte blauwe kipper daarentegen geeft het juiste antwoord, maar doet alsof het verzonnen is. Zo scoort iedere rol op zijn eigen manier punten. Heb jij de strakste pokerface?

Elke ronde is een andere speler de rader. Hij trekt een kaart. Op de voorkant staat een vraag, die hij voorleest. De andere spelers zien het juiste antwoord op de achterkant. Iedere andere speler trekt nu een gedekte vis. Eén van hen is zo de echte blauwe kipper, terwijl alle anderen de rode haringen zijn. Deze spelers krijgen nu een korte periode de tijd om hun antwoord te bedenken. Daarbij moeten rode haringen een verkeerd antwoord geven en de echte blauwe kipper het juiste antwoord.

Het doel van de rader is om één voor één de rode haringen eruit te pikken en als laatste de echte blauwe kipper aan te wijzen. De rode haringen scoren punten als ze niet worden aangewezen voordat de echte blauwe kipper wordt aangewezen. De echte blauwe kipper scoort punten als hij niet als laatste wordt aangewezen.

Sounds Fishy bevat liefst 200 bijzondere vragen, waardoor het spel vele uren hilarisch speelplezier garandeert. Verder bevat Sounds Fishy een variant voor gevorderden, die het systeem voor het scoren van punten iets wijzigt.

I have 2 dogs--a chocolate lab and a pittie mix. Normally, they shred their toys within minutes/hours if not days, but this one has lasted for over 3 months! It is well loved and starting to show some wear, but I am super impressed with how long this one has lasted. It has a couple holes in it but they haven't disemboweled it. The squeeker didn't last too long, but they never do.

Good for modest chewers who don't destroy toys.

We have four dogs, one of whom is a super chewer. Unfortunately, this toy wasn't even durable enough to stand up to our mid-level chewer. She had the squeaker out of this in mere moments, and the rope was untied and in shreds. We had to basically remove the squeaker from her, then clip the rope from the toy so she didn't try to eat it. Now, don't get me wrong. She's still having a great time with this toy, even as she whips it around and tosses stuffing everywhere. This is definitely sized for medium to large dogs, but I would only recommend this to dogs who don't like to destroy their toys, but instead just like to squeak them and maybe play some light tug. For those dogs, this will be a great option. For super chewers, this will last only minutes and I would not recommend it.

Very durable for a plush toy

My GSD husky mix loves this toy. She is "working on it" as I write. Her first call to action with any new toy is to get the squeaker out. This toy is well made enough so that she has not been able to reverse engineer it immediately (as she does with cheap dog toys). She seems to enjoy chewing on the handle making it squeak, which is pretty cute. The toy itself is bigger than I thought it would be which is nice, as my dog is bigger too. It is soft and well stuffed. The rope on the end will make it a great tug toy too. Right now it has my dog's full attention so we shall see how long it lasts. Overall, while not indestructible, it's definitely better than 90% of the toys we've gotten her so far in terms of durability. Great product!
