Carter & Ridley’s relationship evolved perfectly. Ridley got the closure that she needed with her HEA. ‼️Possible spoiler ahead! ‼️I did find it hard to believe that Emerson was able to solve the case within a few minutes but wasn’t able to remember those same exact details over the course of 10 years? It felt a little too fast to me. Almost as if the author was trying to wrap up the story a little too quickly. On a side note, I wish there was a spin-off about Trey & Emerson!
