We zijn ontzettend blij om deze prachtige gewassen Tabi te presenteren, geproduceerd door Jhon Jairo en verkregen via Semilla en het Monkaaba-project dat producenten in de regio ondersteunt.


Jhon heeft een ongelooflijke veerkracht en toewijding, en dat proef je in zijn koffie. Waar hij een paar jaar geleden het merendeel van zijn koffie nog als en verde verkocht (ontpulpt en nog niet gedroogd) vanwege het gebrek aan infrastructuur, heeft hij nu zijn eigen benficio gebouwd met een gemotoriseerde ontpulpers en een zonne-droger.


Jhon's perceel ligt op een indrukwekkende hoogte van 1950 - 2000 meter boven zeeniveau. Het is niet makkelijk om hier Tabi te verbouwen, omdat de temperatuur veel koeler is, de kersen langzamer rijpen en de opbrengsten lager zijn, wat staat voor hoge kwaliteit. De zorgvuldige verwerking daarna laat deze variëteit schitteren.


De kersen worden om de drie weken geoogst en blijven 24 uur in afgesloten zakken voordat ze de volgende dag worden ontpulpt. Na het ontpulpingsproces wordt de koffiemassa 36 uur opgeslagen in betegelde tanks.


De zaden worden vervolgens gespoeld en drie uur in zakken laten uitlekken voordat ze naar de zonne-droger worden gebracht, waar ze tussen de 15 en 20 dagen drogen.

I’m a big fan of this box of tug toys. My dog loves to chew and play tug-of-war, and these have been a great fit for him. The quality is solid, and one box typically lasts us around 6 months. That said, it takes a while for him to break them down, so I’m comfortable leaving them with him when I’m not home. I’ve bought several of these boxes over the years. For the price, it’s a great value—about the same cost as a single tug toy at most pet stores. My dog is about 55 lbs, and these are a great size for him. Even the smaller ones get a lot of use. His favorites are the looped ones and the ones with balls—he gets excited every time I pull one out. I’ve tried other tug toy variety packs, and they don’t compare to this one. If you’re looking for a reliable variety pack for your dog, I’d recommend this one with confidence.
