Rubino dalle sfumature porpora. Profilo olfattivo tipicamente speziato con tocchi di incenso e spezie dolci che cedono la scena al fruttato di marasca e ribes. In bocca il calore trova nel raffinato tannino l’ideale antagonismo, mentre la freschezza prima e la sapidità sul finale donano allungo e dinamismo al sorso.Il Friuli Colli Orientali Pignolo DOC dell’annata 2017 è prodotto con i grappoli della varietà autoctona friulana. Il pignolo vanta una storia antichissima nella regione e le prime testimonianze storiche ci riportano al lontano 1300. Nei vigneti di proprietà le uve sono raccolte rigorosamente a mano e una volta in cantina è svolta la fermentazione in acciaio, a cui segue un’elevazione in barrique di rovere francese di 24 mesi. Un rosso sorprendentemente speziato, generoso e appagante.
Un rosso importante da valorizzare in abbinamento con succulente ricette a base di carne di manzo e selvaggina in umido.
