Geproduceerd door Dave Cobb (Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton, Sturgill Simpson, Amanda Shires), krijgt hij hulp van wat oudgedienden waaronder pedal steel ace Lloyd Green, drummer Chris Powell en Willie Nelson’s longtime harmonicaspeler Mickey Raphael.
