De basis van de Quoco Cremagliera is gemaakt van Cortenstaal of Antraciet gecoat staal.

Cortenstaal is een speciale metaallegering die zorgt voor een vaste roestlaag, de oxidehuid, die het onderliggende materiaal beschermt tegen zuurstof. Hierdoor zal de Cremagliera niet doorroesten.

De uitvoering van gecoat staal is voorzien van een zeer goede, hittebestendige Antraciet coating. Mocht de Cremagliera onverhoopt een beschadiging oplopen dan kun je deze bijwerken met hittebestendige verf. Zo voorkom je roest en heb je nog langer plezier van de Cremagliera.
