Wat een Vikingschip dat kan roeien? Ja, Robotime met zijn populaire merk ROKR, heeft zichzelf weer overtroffen met een fantastisch en functionerend Vikingschip. Dit bouwpakket voor volwassenen bevat beweegbare roeiriemen en schitterende verlichting in de rug van de draak. Het drakenschip is prachtig afgewerkt in drie houtkleuren: zwart, crème en bruin. Je kunt zowel de kop als de staart van dit indrukwekkende schip naar wens aanpassen. Het absolute hoogtepunt is het grote, zwarte vliegwiel dat de twaalf roeiriemen in beweging zet en de rugvin van de draak laat oplichten. Een echt spektakel!

Hoe bouw ik dit meesterwerk?

Geen paniek, deze 3D-houten puzzel is helemaal niet moeilijk om in elkaar te zetten en het geeft enorm veel voldoening om te doen. De boot en de roeiriemen zijn gemaakt van houten stukken die je eenvoudig uit het triplex duwt. Daarna schuif je de onderdelen zonder lijm in elkaar met behulp van pen-en-gatverbindingen. Binnenin zitten twee doorzichtige tandraderen van kunststof die om stalen assen gaan. De doos bevat ook alle benodigde bedrading en een dynamo om de rugvin van de draak te verlichten. Dit is een leuk en uitdagend project voor elke modelbouwer.

Op het naamplaatje van het schip staat “Tales of Valor” gegraveerd, een knipoog naar de moedige verhalen van de Vikingen.
