Bloeitijd en bloemen Choisya Ternata

De zoet geurende bloemen van deze compacte struiken zijn wit van kleur. De bloemen bloeien van ca. mei tot en met juni. De bladeren zijn groen van kleur. Deze wintergroene Mexicaanse citroenbloesem Choisya Ternata verdraagt een temperatuur tot -10 graden Celsius. Zorg dus voor een beschutte plek en dek uw heesters bij strenge vorst af met een noppenfolie-zak.

Combineren Choisya met andere tuinplanten

Deze zuurminnende dwergheesters combineren goed met andere kleine heesters en planten die houden van een zure grond. Denk aan (dwerg)Rododendrons, Azalea's, (dwerg)Sering, Hibiscus, Hortensia's, Skimmia's en lage beplanting als:

  • Verbena 'Ijzerhard' (paars steekt mooi af) kies de lage Lollipop
  • Gele Zonnehoed 'Rudbeckia'
  • Ezelsoor 'Stachys'
  • Lavendel (zon en niet in zure grond zetten)
  • Salie 'Salvia' (zon)
  • Kattenkruid 'Nepeta' (zon) TIP.
  • Kaukasisch-vergeet-mij-nietje 'Brunnera' (schaduw)
  • Hartlelie's 'Hosta' (schaduw). 
  • Vrouwenmantel 'Alchemilla'
  • Duizendknoop 'Persicaria;s
  • Duizendblad 'Achillea'

Aanplanting en standplaats Choisya Ternata

Deze Choisya is geschikt voor een koele, beschutte plaats in uw tuin. Is een populaire tuinplant in voor stedelijk openbaar groen (parken), bostuinen en exotische tuinen. Deze mooie tuinplant wenst een matig voedselrijke, vochthoudende tot vochtige, 'gemiddelde' bodem. Dus niet te zware of te lichte grond en een vrij neutrale zuurgraad (pH = 6 - 8). Staat graag op een licht beschaduwd plekje. Kan bij nachtvorst in april-mei schade oplopen. Deze wintergroene sierheester is goed te combineren met planten voor een 'open plaats'.

Bijzonderheden

Het blad is drietallig en leerachtig. Deze wintergroene sierheester heeft vanwege haar bloei, groei en kleur een decoratieve waarde in uw tuin. Erg mooi als solitaire tuinplant.

Absolutely amazing and great quality. My two chihuahuas have been digging and ripping up potty pads since they were babies. They are now 1 year and 3 months old and still do that. I tried reusable potty pads for a while and washing them, but eventually the smell and amount of time wasn’t worth it anymore. And I was looking for something else. I found these and ordered 3 of these potty trays and they are incredible. They can’t chew the disposable potty pads and they do great with this. I highly recommend! It took about 3 days for them to adjust to the feeling of the material but now they are comfortable. I wipe the top daily and change the disposable potty pads. Then once a week I clean with vinegar and water and towels or just soap and I sometimes spray down with hose outside. It makes it much faster and easier. It still takes work to keep it clean but it’s much better than cleaning up ripped up potty pads every day. It’s a great value also for the price and definitely I can tell is going to last a long time. For reference my dogs are 10 pounds, they are overweight right now and loosing weight, but this completely holds them and is very sturdy, even when both are on it at the same time. They use as their main bathroom area as it is not safe for them to go outside alone because there are coyotes in the area. And when I’m at work they have access to a potty area all day. I definitely recommend for dogs this size and am so happy I found a product that works for my home. Also the grey color is great and matches well in my home.

A must-buy for any puppy owner that uses potty pads. Our pup still hasn't had all of her parvo boosters and has had to stay inside at all times. She is usually very good about going on her potty pads, but has a terrible habit of grabbing the pad and flinging waste everywhere and tearing the pad itself apart. This potty pad holder is PERFECT. It is sturdy and the grated tray fits in neatly. The dog is unable to get to the puppy pad, no matter how hard she bites or paws at the sides. Believe me, I've seen her try. We bought other puppy pad holders that were cheaper, but she was able to rip the puppy pad out of them easily. It is also really easy to clean. The plastic can easily be washed with soap and water or sprayed and wiped with antibacterial spray. The potty pad itself usually soaks up all of the urine, so there is never any worry of overflow. The only critique I have is that the rectangular shape is somewhat a poor design, because most potty pads are square-shaped. This means that the owner has to fold a standard potty pad in order to fit the tray. But this is not a huge problem, as we're still very happy with the product. Overall, it's worth the money, because now I don't have to worry about cleaning a huge mess, disciplining my pup for the behavior, or any health scares from her eating plastic from the potty pads. We loved the first one so much, that we bought a second one.
