Secret Combination is een countryrockband uit Nederland. Zeven muzikanten die hun band zien als iets ‘on the side’, een ontmoeting met goede vrienden, een bescheiden eerbetoon aan Neil Young, Gram Parsons, Little Feat en andere (Amerikaanse) helden uit hun jeugd. Het album Code of Mercy verscheen in 2003 en komt nu voor het eerst uit op vinyl, in een zeer gelimiteerde oplage van 300 stuks. Een superdeluxe uitgave met artwork van Peter Pontiac, het essay 'The Pontiac Years', een slipmat met Pontiac artwork en een bonus 7' van het nummer 'Christmas Morning'. De line-up van de band bestaat uit Chip Visser op basgitaar, drums Toni Peroni, gitaar & zang Wilmer Wolf (1956-2024), keyboards Robin van Vliet , pedal steel Johan (JJ) Jansen, slide guitar René van Barneveld & lead vocals Jeff Mitchell. Topmuzikanten die hun sporen verdienden bij Urban Dance Squad, Secret Sounds, Slagerij van Kampen, Het Goede Doel, Cash on Delivery en Zootcase.

Decent Shoes with Misleading Description (Not Leather)

I only look for leather when I’m purchasing dress shoes. Under the description “details” on this item it lists the shoe as leather upper and inner lining. A photo shows “genuine Napa leather lining”. If you keep reading (which I have now that I’ve received the shoes) it shows “faux leather” in the small print and that is not “leather”. I run a small leather business and this irks me because it’s clearly false advertising. The details also show the product is made in Brazil but when they arrived today, the shoe tag shows “Made in China” and “Man Made upper and lower”. I don’t hate the shoes. They look nice. What I know is they won’t hold up over time like leather, which is why the description should be accurate and not misleading.
