Prodotto per la prima volta nel 1968, il Venezia Giulia Rosso IGT Rivarossa, etichettato Schiopetto, è uno storico assemblaggio aziendale, basato su uve di merlot cui viene aggiunta una percentuale di cabernet sauvignon, più o meno costante di stagione in stagione. Invecchia in botti di rovere per 14 mesi, così da arrivare a esprimere tutto il suo potente carattere, determinato, deciso ma sempre bilanciato ed equilibrato.

Da abbinare alle portate a base di carne rossa, è perfetto insieme allossobuco con le patate.
