Hypericum ‘Annebel’ is een compacte en rijkbloeiende heester die zorgt voor een vrolijke en langdurige kleur in de tuin. Het glanzend donkergroene blad vormt een volle basis waarboven in de zomer talloze felgele bloemen verschijnen.

De plant bloeit langdurig en trekt daarbij veel bijen en vlinders aan. Door zijn compacte en bossige groei is ‘Annebel’ geschikt voor borders, lage hagen en als bodembedekker in zowel kleine als grotere tuinen.

Standplaats en verzorging
Hypericum ‘Annebel’ groeit goed in volle zon tot halfschaduw en stelt weinig eisen aan de bodem, zolang deze goed doorlatend is. De plant is winterhard en onderhoudsarm. Terugsnoeien in het vroege voorjaar helpt om de vorm compact en bloeirijk te houden.

If you want to be super productive then start here

I have been coding and implementing productivity processes for thirty years and I still found "The Art of Clean Code" engaging and valuable. I've done almost everything in the book, yet like many who have been in the field for a while, the refresher was timely. My work now is vastly different from my work in the '90's, and even what I was doing in the '80's. While the book uses Python examples the code is easy to read and applicable anywhere. Most of the guidelines given even benefit daily life, not just coding. Highly recommended!

Unimpressive
Format: Paperback
This book is very much part of hustle culture. Each chapter contains a shallow dip into a programming principle followed by a metaphorical application of the principle to your career. "10x your income by maximizing your productivity and earning while you learn through a Python side hustle! Here is one anecdotal example of someone who got rich after two months! Sign up for my course and you can do it too!" I don't doubt Dr. Mayer's own expertise, but this is not really a book about coding; it's a book about hustling, and its main purpose seems to be to sell Dr. Mayer's course. What disappoints me is that this book seems to be offered in bad faith. Dr. Mayer may be a true believer, but he probably knows that the vast majority of side hustlers won't make much money, and he probably knows the the tech bro culture around programming is a separate thing from software design per se. I'm equally disappointed in No Starch. I have loved their books up till now; they let us down with this one.
