Over de fabrikant: 
De glasfabriek Zelezny Brod, ook bekend als Železnobrodské Sklo (ZBS), is waarschijnlijk het best bekend om zijn populaire vrij gevormde organische vazen en schalen, ontworpen door Miloslav Klinger en anderen, in de jaren 1950 - 80. De fabriek werd in 1948 opgericht als gevolg van nationalisatie. In die tijd bestond het uit negen verschillende glasateliers in de stad Zelezny Brod, Tsjechië (toen nog Tsjecho-Slowakije).
