De Bordeaux is misschien wel de bakermat van alle wijnen. Hier begon het allemaal. Al eeuwenlang wordt er hier wijn gemaakt en zijn zij verantwoordelijk voor de grote successen voorbij de landsgrenzen. Zo was het de beroemde familie Rothschild die de wijngaarden in Chili aanplantte en stonden de wijnboeren uit de Bordeaux aan de wieg van de Spaanse wijnregio Rioja. Ondanks dat hebben de wijnen uit de Bordeaux altijd hun eigen karakter weten te behouden, zo ook goed te ontdekken is bij Chateau Beaumont Haut Medoc Cru Bourgeois. Chateau Beaumont Haut Medoc Cru Bourgeois is afkomstig uit de Haut Medoc, een deelgebied van de Bordeaux. Het is het noord-westelijke gedeelte, welke als het ware een schiereiland is. Met in het oosten de rivier de Garonne en in het westen de Golf van Biskaje, zijn de omstandigheden hier misschien nog beter dan in de rest van de Bordeaux. Chateau Beaumont Haut Medoc Cru Bourgeois is een trio van Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon en de kleine, doch pittige Petit Verdot. Gedurende twee weken lang wordt de oogst binnengehaald. Dankzij het klimaat in de Haut Medoc krijgen de druiven veel intensiteit. Trek die fles maar eens open: veel fruit in de vorm van cassis, bramen, bessen en iets van wilde bosaardbeien. Beautiful book!
Format: Kindle
What a wonderful book! I read this with my son and we loved the beautiful illustrations that depicted so many different people groups. Though we are in a season where I know of so many who are experiencing “church-hurt,” The Celebration Place gave a glimpse of at least one church where all are welcome and where people don’t have to leave their ethnicity, style, or even age at the door. The energy just leaps off the page and creates a genuine sense of celebration!

An Invitation to God's Future
Format: Hardcover
I loved this little book.
It is wonderfully illustrated, faithful to the eschatological vision of unity in Christ, and invitational. While not all churches today are mulit-ethnic or multi-national, that's the future, when Jesus culminates his saving work.
Why not live today in light of how things will be in eternity?

Beautiful depiction of diversity AND inclusion
Format: Hardcover
This book is very inspiring and hopeful. As a person of color I love seeing the possibility of what church can look like if we welcomed and celebrated peoples’ uniquenesses. The illustrations are beautiful and there is so much joy in the words, and I’m excited for my child to grow up seeing this as the “norm”.
