Leggero il colore giallo paglierino alla vista, attraversato da qualche riflesso più tendente al verdognolo. Elegante, soave e gentile il naso, dove si avvertono tocchi agrumati e richiami alla pesca ben matura, alternati a nuances erbacee e floreali. Entra in bocca con un attacco fresco e sapido, che disegna un sorso morbido, di buona persistenza finale.La Ribolla Gialla è uno di quei vini capaci di infiammare il cuore degli appassionati dei grandi bianchi italiani. Si tratta infatti di un varietale fortemente identitario, che racconta più che mai con trasparenza e onestà il terroir del Collio friulano. Una bella interpretazione quella fornitaci della cantina Due Del Monte con questa bottiglia, in cui frutto, freschezza e sapidità sono la chiave di una beva a dir poco appagante. La vendemmia, rigorosamente manuale, porta in cantina, uve sane e piene di profumi. Si prosegue poi con la fermentazione, in vasche di acciaio inox e l’affinamento, svolto parzialmente anche in barriques di rovere francese, per un totale di circa 10 mesi. Una bottiglia senza dubbio di personalità, da bere con l’attenzione che si merita.

The perfect work shoe

I wear dress shoes everyday and I’m on my feet a lot. My wife is the same way and would always praise Clarks, but I didn’t think much of it. I’d always get Nunn Bush or something like that, but they weren’t comfortable or last very long. I happened to be at a Clarks store that was closing one time and picked up a pair of these and boy did everything change that day. Not only are they comfortable they last a long time. I get about one pair a year. That doesn’t mean they only last a year, I just try to keep a nice looking pair. I can wear them all day and my feet don’t hurt. And you get all the comfort without the bulkiness of other comfort footwear companies. They fit nice and don’t pinch or rub anywhere. They are definitely worth the full price, but they go on sale regularly to an even better deal so keep an eye out.
