Deze houtsoort brandt snel en fel en is daardoor bijzonder geschikt voor accumulerende kachels en speksteenkachels, om de stenen en de ruimte snel op temperatuur te brengen. Dankzij de snelle ontbranding en hoge warmteafgifte is elzenhout perfect voor wie direct resultaat wil.

Elzenhout heeft een prachtig vlammenspel en staat bekend om zijn zeer schone verbranding. Het is een zachtere houtsoort, waardoor het zeer eenvoudig aan te steken is. Wij adviseren om het hout aan te steken met aanmaakhout en aanmaakblokjes volgens de Zwitserse aansteekmethode.

Het hout is geschikt voor vrijwel iedere kachel, maar minder geschikt voor grotere open haarden. De blokken zijn normaal gekloofd en hebben een lengte van circa 25 cm. Voor het beste stookresultaat adviseren wij om minimaal 3 blokken tegelijk te gebruiken.

Al ons elzenhaardhout is gegarandeerd ovengedroogd, volledig vrij van schimmel en ongedierte en direct klaar voor gebruik. Het hout wordt geleverd in een stevige houten krat, strak gestapeld. Let op! Deze krat kan niet worden geretourneerd

I've been using these pads a loooong time. They take off everything and are not irritating at all (my skin is super sensitive).
