De Michelin Commander III band is de belichaming van de "Michelin Total Performance" belofte van de bandenfabrikant: prestaties op droog wegdek, grip bij nat weer en een lange levensduur. Voortbouwend op de krachtige reputatie van de Commander II band, belooft de Commander III de normen voor V-twin en cruiserbanden naar een geheel nieuw niveau te tillen. De Commander II bood handling op droog wegdek en betrouwbare grip op nat wegdek met vrijwel geen van de verwachte nadelige gevolgen voor de levensduur van de band. Michelin's tests met een Harley-Davidson® Electra Glide® Classics controleerden dat de band in staat was om tot 25.000 mijl af te leggen.

Nu doet de Commander III zijn intrede met even indrukwekkende grip op droog wegdek, nog betere prestaties bij nat weer en een langere verwachte levensduur. Let op: Michelin heeft zojuist een nieuwe levende legende gecreëerd en de betekenis van "geen compromissen" in de wereld van de motorbanden opnieuw gedefinieerd.
