Clase Azul Mezcal San Luis Potosí is gemaakt van groene agave (Agave salmiana), een agavevariëteit afkomstig uit de halfwoestijnhellingen en vlaktes van San Luis Potosí. In zijn natuurlijke omgeving wordt de plant als volwassen beschouwd als hij ongeveer 12 jaar oud is hoogte van bijna vijf meter. De groei en mate van volwassenheid zijn afhankelijk van factoren zoals temperatuur, bodemsamenstelling en de omgeving beschikbaarheid van water. Een uniek mezcal-profiel is het resultaat van een proces dat bestaat uit langzaam koken met stoom, dubbel malen met een tahona en distilleren in traditionele koperen ketels.

De karaf die voor deze editie is gemaakt, is geïnspireerd op de geschiedenis van het Huachichil-volk, een nomadenstam die door het land trok in de woestijn van San Luis Potosí in Centraal Mexico. De rode kleur van het keramiek verwijst naar de naam van deze mensen wat betekent "roodgeverfde hoofden". Met de hand gemaakt door Mexicaanse ambachtslieden met behulp van een techniek waarbij gekleurd garen wordt gebruikt ingewikkelde ontwerpen, de dop van de karaf vertegenwoordigt een prachtig oneirisch landschap van woestijnbergen en valleien gevuld met helderrode vinken tijdens de vlucht.

Smaak: Kruidige smaak met noten van caramel limoenschil en kruidnagel
