In 1912 kocht Joseph Osborn enkele gevestigde wijngaarden die in de vorige eeuw waren aangeplant. In 1928 werden kelders gebouwd en de wijn werd door het hele rijk verkocht. Aan het eind van de jaren vijftig nam d'Arry Osborn de controle over de wijnmakerij over. Zijn enorme flair en focus op kwaliteit bezorgden de wijnmakerij d’Arenberg, een van de eerste cultwijnen op de Australische markt, aanzienlijke bekendheid. De kenmerkende kleurstelling - een rode diagonale streep - gaf het merk een aanzienlijke impuls op de markt. Door de nadruk te houden op traditionele wijnbereiding en door hun oude wijnstokmateriaal te koesteren, heeft de Osborn-clan zich met succes gevestigd als een van de toonaangevende producenten van geconcentreerde wijnen met karakter. Kleine partijen druiven worden voorzichtig geplet en overgebracht naar roestvrijstalen persen. De gisting is lang en matig koel om de kenmerken van vers fruit te behouden, en werd uitgevoerd in roestvrijstalen tanks. Alleen vrijloopsap werd gebruikt voor de uiteindelijke wijn zonder malolactische gisting.Geniet van een levendige Roussanne
De eerste biologische wijn uit de vintage van 2000 die wordt uitgebracht, is The Money Spider Roussanne. Een levendige en textuurwijn met aroma's van perzik, banaan, citroen, honingdauwmeloen en bloemen. De smaak is meer aan de tropische kant, met groene mango, schillen van citrusvruchten en nectarine. A new take 🤔

I’m not going to go into what this book is about — by now you e already read the synopsis and have an idea — but I will give a couple of insights.
Definitely a different take on angels and their fall; I like it. This is an interesting start to a new series - YES, this does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared for that. I’m eager for the next book (and hopefully the last in this series — sometimes the author(s) will switch it up depending on how the story flows for them) in this series.
I’m hoping that a certain male character redeems himself because he’s a dick that will make the meaning of mixed signals jealous lol.
You ever watch that old movie — I think it’s call Mommy Dearest? — yea, let’s switch that up to daddy. That man would make a perfect husband to mommy dearest.
I recommend this book because while these authors are well known for their cliffhangers, they are also well known for putting out good stories.

I liked the worlds and the characters. The prophesy is confusing in that I would think, since all worlds ore on a path to destruction, the angels would want their world to be saved. I am sure there is more evil that will be revealed as the series proceeds. I dislike a prolonged “poor little me” trope and the main character has moved past that, thankfully, and began to show a fierce attitude as the novel progressed. The last portion of the novel had some great action. It’s worth reading, just be patient with a slow start.

Monstrously Sweet
Format: Kindle
This book packs an emotional punch, especially if you’ve experienced childhood trauma (particularly abuse and/or neglect). Alexandra creates these three strong protectors who love her and will do anything to make her feel happy and safe. She started out drawing them when she was a small child, and then transitioned to stories as she grew up. Lucien, Elwin, and Kylo look frightening in their monster forms, but it’s clear that they would never hurt Alexandra, and she has never felt afraid of them. They have very distinct personalities that we get to know better throughout the book. The love and devotion they have for Alexandra is sweet and unwavering.
This is a fantastic and creative story! The world-building is wonderful - it’s a shared world with M. Sinclair, and takes place at a university for supernatural beings. The additional world-building within Alexandra’s story added even more depth and intrigue. The spicy times were 🥵 and it’s more of a medium burn, but it works with the characters and I expect that it’ll pick up quite a bit in the next books.
Monsters Within has a unique way of addressing mental health issues that can come from being abused and neglected. There are some flashbacks to Alexandra’s childhood that provide some insight but they don’t go into heavy details.
I absolutely adored this book and can’t wait for more!

One of us

Alexandra is literally one of us. She's just lucky her fictional men became a reality hahaha. This was a good start to what I know is going to be a great series. This was fast paced and kept me entertained. Im ready for the chaos to slow down a little bit so we can get more into the character development. There's so much happening, I feel like we hardly know anything about anyone BUT that's why this is a series so let's get to the next one!
