De geur is geïnspireerd op het concept van tijd, geduld en rijping, waarbij oudh wordt behandeld als een evoluerend materiaal dat zich langzaam ontwikkelt over de huid. Oud Zuhal staat bekend om zijn hoge concentratie (30%) en zijn complexe, meditatieve opbouw waarin kruiden, patchouli en meerdere soorten oudh samenkomen tot een intens en luxueus geheel.

De opening is krachtig, kruidig en licht sprankelend met kardemom, zwarte peper en roze peper. Deze combinatie zorgt voor een directe warme, aromatische en licht prikkelende eerste indruk die meteen die typische Amouage-signatuur van intensiteit en diepte neerzet.
