Dit gebied staat bekend om zijn kalkrijke bodem die de witte wijnen hun karakteristieke eigenschappen meegeven. Mooi groenige heldere kleur en fijne aroma's van fruit en het herkenbare minerale karakter. In de smaak intens fris en bloemig.
De kleur van deze wijn is lichtgoud met groene reflecties. In de neus intense aroma’s van frisheid, fruitigheid, maar ook harmonisch met mineraliteit. In de mond komen tonen van citrus en limoen naar voren met hints van munt.
Voortreffelijke witte wijn die goed gaat als aperitief, bij witte visgerechten, lichte kipgerechten of een frisse salade met een zure vinaigrette.
De familie Salmon teelt al 6 generaties lang druiven in de regio Sancerre, voornamelijk binnen de beroemde gemeente Bué, wiens wijnen bekend zijn over de hele wereld. Dit is het gebied waar sommige van 's werelds meest prestigieuze wijngaarden liggen.
