Het iconische motief op de placemat viert Kerstmis als het feest van de harten en is een nostalgisch kenmerkend ontwerp in de damast collectie. Net zo geschikt voor alledaagse kerstsfeer als voor adventsvieringen en kerstfeestjes.

 

Het ontwerp is gemaakt door Bodil Bødtker-Næss, die deel uitmaakte van de inner circle van textielkunstenaars rond Georg Jensen Damast in de jaren 1970 en ook verantwoordelijk is voor het klassieke paasontwerp uit dezelfde periode. De gevlochten kerstharten en gestileerde sparrentakken belichamen al meer dan 40 jaar de kerstgedachte en het ontwerp is in veel huizen een onmisbaar onderdeel van Kerstmis.

De klassieke kleurencombinatie van kerstrood en goud heeft een speciaal plekje in de harten van velen en maakt al deel uit van onze collectie sinds de lancering in 1975. In al zijn prachtige eenvoud de placemat in de originele kleurencombinatie de tradities in ere. Bijpassende kleur stoffen servetten maken de look compleet.
