Past op alle frames
De AXA Fold wordt inclusief handige houder geleverd. Deze kan op de plek van de bidonhouder gemonteerd worden of je zet hem om de stang vast met de 2 meegeleverde strips. Het slot zit aan de onderkant in de houder, hierdoor kantel je hem er eenvoudig uit. Aangezien je het slot niet uit de houder hoeft te schuiven past het op alle frames. Dankzij het revolutionaire sluitmechanisme wordt het slot gefixeerd in de houder, waardoor het niet rammelt tijdens het fietsen.

Eenvoudig in gebruik
Dankzij de flexibele scharnierpunten en het lichte gewicht is het slot moeiteloos in gebruik. Het slot is gemaakt van gehard staal en is bestendigd tegen aanvallen zoals knippen en trekken.

Handige click-in functie
De Fold heeft een handige click-in functie. Er is een uitsparing aan de zijkant gemaakt waar je de sluiting makkelijk inschuift. Zodra je dat doet hoor je een duidelijke klik. Nu kan de sleutel verwijderd worden en zit hij op slot. Verder heeft het slot een zacht omhulsel waardoor er geen krassen op het frame van de fiets komen.

Symmetrische sleutel
De AXA Fold heeft een symmetrische sleutel wat erg prettig is bij het openen en sluiten, zeker in het donker! Daarnaast is het slot voorzien van een stofkap die uw cilinder beschermd tegen vocht en vuil. Dit komt de duurzaamheid van het slot weer ten goede.

I'd recommend it, especially at this give-away-price
As a sociologist, I was always interested as to how the USSR could morph what Marx considered communalism networked by a shallow, weak, centralized and supposedly representative government into what I would considered an extremest left-wing oligarchy (most fashionably consider it right-wing despite how it was sold and supported by the people that allowed it- so much for cultural relativity and in context social analysis!). If Stalin actually wrote these pieces (or more commonly among dictators farmed it out to a frightened academic ghostwriter) then it could help explain why Marx disassociated himself with much of the Marxist movement toward the end of his life. It is a logically written and well informed book - worth the read if you are into the sociology of politics, philosophy of politics or the history of politics. I'd recommend it, especially at this give-away-price!

Good book, mediocre edition
Format: Paperback
This review pertains to the quality of this edition's editing and construction, rather than the content of the book itself. Rest assured that the text itself remains a valuable piece of introductory theory. The book is fairly well constructed, with paper and a binding that is sturdy enough for general use. However, my copy had several manufacturing errors including folded over pages being stuck into the binding. In addition, there are several misspelled words throughout the text and some obvious typos (missing letters, incorrect capitalization and punctuation) that did not majorly impact the readability of the text, but were, nevertheless, annoying. Considering the low price of this edition the manufacturing errors are hardly a big deal, but I would have preferred the text itself to have been treated with more care and respect while being prepared for printing.

This book was highly organized and very easy to comprehend. I have formed a much better understanding of Xi Jinping and where he is taking China. Although I feel he has been thoughtful and successful in some areas such as improving China economically, I don’t feel his autocratic approach will succeed in the long run when more Chinese people will demand to be heard. Just as Mao thought didn’t outlast Mao, Xi thought will not outlast Xi.

The Book I Meant to Write

While doing my master’s degree in international relations, I completed a master’s thesis on Xi Jinping Thought (which, like the authors, I shortened to Xi Thought). I considered writing a book on the subject since there wasn’t a lot in English, but I no longer feel the need. This book fills every gap that was present. Well written and informative, it is the quintessential English source in Xi Thought. The authors put Xi’s political thought in a consultative Leninist paradigm and define that context clearly. Each chapter elucidates a little more and puts Xi thought front and center in China’s current transformation. I consider it a must read.
