Floris A Rose For... - Eau de Parfum is een luxueuze, donkere en elegante amber-bloemige uniseks geur die in 2016 werd gelanceerd door het historische Britse parfumhuis Floris London. De geur werd gecreëerd na een reis van Edward Bodenham, de negende generatie van de Floris-familie, naar de rozenvelden van Marokko. Daar werd hij geïnspireerd door hoe rozen de warmte, kruiden en sfeer van hun omgeving konden opnemen. Het resultaat is een moderne interpretatie van roos waarin traditionele bloemige elegantie wordt gecombineerd met wierook, oudh en warme houtnoten. 

De opening is mysterieus en verfijnd met Darjeeling zwarte thee, wierook en cassis. Deze combinatie geeft meteen een rokerige, licht fruitige en aromatische eerste indruk die warm en intens aanvoelt zonder zwaar te worden. In het hart ontwikkelt zich een rijke en sensuele combinatie van rode roos, orris, oudh en tuberoos. De roos staat centraal maar wordt omringd door zachte poederige irisnuances, donkere houttonen en een subtiele florale romigheid, waardoor de geur een diepe en bijna fluweelachtige elegantie krijgt.

Initially it was a bit challenging to set up as I was not fortunate enough to have assistance (the instructions tell you that you need two people for part of the installation process). I also had to play around with placement a bit as my available installation space was extremely limited and neither of the listed/'suggested mounting situations worked for me; however, with some head-scratching and debating with myself, I finally figured how to make it work how and where I needed it it, and all was good!! It functions well, and holds adequate weight, and looks really good with the light lacquer finish...the only thing I will say to a potential buyer is to make sure you have room to walk past it easily when its closed down because it still sticks out a few inches even when closed down...overall, very happy with this item and would purchase again.
