CPLA is een biologisch afbreekbaar plastic afkomstig van gewassen als maïs en suikerriet, versterkt met talk of kalk. Het verschil met ‘traditioneel’ plastic? Dat zit hem in de grondstof. PLA wordt namelijk niet gemaakt van aardolie, maar van een hernieuwbare en plantaardige bron waardoor er bespaard wordt op fossiele grondstoffen. CPLA is hittebestendig tot 85 graden.
