Door deze vele reizen en het gebruik heeft het hout een doorleefde, authentieke uitstraling gekregen, met krassen, markeringen en soms nog oude ijzeren strips die vroeger werden gebruikt voor
Deze vintage Indiase klaptafels werden jarenlang gebruikt bij bruiloften, festivals en andere openbare evenementen. Ze reisden mee op vrachtwagens, werden opgezet voor de duur van het feest en daarna weer ingeklapt voor transport naar de volgende locatie. Door deze vele reizen en het gebruik heeft het hout een doorleefde, authentieke uitstraling gekregen, met krassen, markeringen en soms nog oude ijzeren strips die vroeger werden gebruikt voor reparaties. Dat geeft elke tafel extra karakter en maakt hem echt uniek.De tafels zijn bijzonder praktisch: ze zijn eenvoudig in te klappen tot enkele centimeters dik, waardoor je ze makkelijk opbergt als ze niet worden gebruikt. Ondanks hun flexibiliteit zijn ze stevig genoeg voor binnengebruik en kunnen ze ook buiten worden ingezet, bijvoorbeeld als tuintafel bij een feest of evenement. Elke tafel heeft een eigen uitstraling, omdat ze allemaal gemaakt zijn van gerecycled FSC-gecertificeerd hout en metaal.

Onderhoud:
Met het juiste onderhoud blijft de tafel jarenlang mooi. Voor binnengebruik volstaat het om hem twee keer per jaar in te smeren met teakolie. Wie de tafel buiten gebruikt, brengt aan het begin en einde van het seizoen teakolie aan en smeert de metalen onderdelen in met lak- of lijnolie. Voor extra bescherming kun je de hele tafel ook licht insmeren met lijnzaadolie.

Beautiful room dividers! I'm glad I bought several.

This room divider is perfect for my use. I bought one with 6 panels and another with 4 panels, mostly to hide areas of my living space when guests come over. The screens are attractive, a pleasing color, just the right height and width, and a very pretty design. They require no assembly and are easy to put in place. When not in use, they store in a compact fashion.
The only drawback is the odor from the manufacturing process. I left the screens on an enclosed porch with the windows open for about two weeks before I could tolerate the odor inside the house. After that, there was no problem.

Just the features I needed

Product was exactly as described and just what I needed to set up a guest room that has a double tinted glass door.facing the font and a road 50 yards away. The glass tint allows people to see inside after dark and interior lights are on, so I needed a very lightweight screen to put up across it for privacy at night and did not want curtains over my showpiece doors. The screen folds neatly and stands up beside an armoire out of sight when not needed, but steps away at night to put up until morning. Lightweight but sturdy—just what I was looking for. Looks high end.
