Let op: Dit hydrolaat bevat een Cosmos/Ecocert goedgekeurde conservering, dat maakt dit hydrolaat enkel geschikt voor cosmetisch gebruik.
Wat zijn hydrolaten?
Bij het destilleren van planten ontstaan er twee producten: essentiële olie en hydrolaat. Een hydrolaat heeft andere bestanddelen en werkstoffen dan de essentiële olie van hetzelfde plantmateriaal. Hydrolaten zijn minder sterk dan de etherische olie maar zeker niet minderwaardig! Hydrolaten zijn veelzijdig en makkelijk in gebruik: van verfrissing tot aan de verzorging van een zeer gevoelige huid.
Ingrediënten (INCI)
Citrus aurantium amara flower water, Benzyl alcohol, Dehydroacetic acid, Aqua.
Gebruik
Omdat hydrolaten rijk zijn aan wateroplosbare bestanddelen zijn ze zeer goed te verdragen. Hydrolaten zijn heel zacht en daarom voor iedereen bruikbaar. De mogelijkheden zijn bijna eindeloos. Deze bloemen- of kruidenwaters zijn te gebruiken in de huidverzorging, in het huishouden en hebben nog veel meer praktische toepassingen!
Huidverzorging: als hydraterende en verfrissende spray, om kleimaskers aan te lengen of als reinigende lotion.
Bewaaradvies
Hydrolaten zijn minder lang houdbaar dan essentiële oliën. Verse hydrolaten zijn zuiver en bacterievrij. Je kunt een hydrolaat het beste in de koelkast bewaren, of zo koel (en donker) mogelijk. Na opening zijn de meeste hydrolaten 1,5 jaar houdbaar.
Waarschuwingen
Alleen voor uitwendig gebruik. Niet geschikt voor consumptie.
Chi Natural Life heeft dit product meer dan 20 jaar succesvol in het assortiment gehad zonder conservering echter is het extreem moeilijk enkele hydrolaten stabiel te houden over een langere periode. We zien steeds vaker dat geproduceerde batches niet door onze hoogwaardige kwaliteitseisen komen, waarbij een hydrolaat bijvoorbeeld maar 6 maanden houdbaar is en dat is onvoldoende. Daarom is aan ons Oranjebloesem hydrolaat en Hamamelis hydrolaat in zeer lage hoeveelheid Geogard toegevoegd. Dit is een conserveringsmiddel dat Cosmos/Ecocert conform is en dus het label natuurcosmetica mag dragen. Dit ingrediënt zorgt er wel voor dat deze hydrolaten niet meer voor consumptie geschikt zijn.

Incredible tool for engaged couples!!!

When I ordered this I had no idea whether it would be good or not but I was just trying to find a nice devotional or something for my fiancé and I to study together. We are maybe halfway through the book now and it has been incredible. I read the first few pages as we were driving together on a road trip and I almost started crying from the special way it presented the beauty of marriage. Every chapter opens up deep conversations between us; the discussion questions get exactly to the heart of the toughest topics to broach. This book leaves no stone unturned, continually challenging you to share your hearts, your thoughts, your hopes, and your expectations with each other, while keeping God as the center focus. The author comes alongside as you let down walls between each other, acknowledging just how difficult, but also freeing, it can be to let another person completely into every aspect of your life. This book has been and will continue to be an invaluable tool for us!

A fundamental message for preparing the heart, mind and body
Format: Hardcover
"Preparing your heart for marriage: Devotions for Engaged couples" is a great devotional that should be used by certain couples who follow a certain type of Christian spirituality to help prepare for married life.
As the author Gary Thomas stresses, marriage is an entirely different ballgame from dating. No matter how long (or how short) you've been dating your beloved, living with them and learning how their personality works in daily marriage life is the key. These are 30 pre-marriage devotionals that do not require a Biblical reading with them, and have questions for reflections at the end. First, the pluses of this book. The black and white pictures and the layout of the book is just gorgeous. This is a perfect gift for a couple who has just been engaged. The preparation for marriage is realistic. This book deals with myths regarding a perfect marriage are, what communication is and how to continue to learn to love the other person even when times are tough (it's called taking your marital vows seriously).
Now, the issues I have with the book. There is a big emphasis on being sexually pure before marriage. A lot of people will like this approach. However, some of the most religious people I know don't believe in this anymore, and feel this is a lesser sin. Some people who might be open to Christianity might be turned off by the heavy handiness of this subject in this work. This is a very Southern Baptist approach to sexuality. When I read about the author's credentials (teacher and writer in residence at the Second Baptist Church in Houston, TX which is one of the largest fundamental churches in Tx) I was not surprised by his approach. While I understand this approach and there are scriptural references to this approach, it may not be appealing to those questioning the validity of Christianity or to those who are interested in exploring becoming a Christian.
Overall, this is a good gift. My Husband and I are an old married couple by now, and we enjoyed the book together and read it in one sitting, discussing the questions at the end. I think this can be used by older married couples. (We decided to revisit our courting days and asked some of the questions at the end of each devotional in past tense). I note the author seems to have devotionals for married couples and has written 18 other Christian oriented relationship books as of this writing. This is good for engaged or newly married couples who have a fundamental bent, or who are willing to either skip the sexual purity chapters or discuss the importance of sexuality in their present married/engaged life.
