Vijftig jaar geleden, in augustus 1970, kwam in Rotterdam-Zuid de eerste reformatorische scholengemeenschap tot stand: het Reformatorisch Atheneum, later bekend geworden als de Guido de Brès. Vijfentwintig jaar later fuseerde deze school met de Revius, de Marnix en de De Swaef tot het Wartburg College. Dit boek vertelt de geschiedenis van deze school: van de enthousiaste pioniers uit de eerste periode, die zichzelf tegenover de Nederlandse samenleving, de politiek en de eigen achterban moesten defi niëren, tot de bestuurders die een antwoord moesten geven op de vraag in hoeverre de opgelegde onderwijsvernieuwingen met de eigen reformatorische identiteit verenigbaar waren, tot de meest recente periode waarin de school ‘school in de stad’ wil zijn maar een streep wil trekken bij het moderne gelijkheidsdenken.

NICE Shirt that SHRINKS!!

Loved this shirt right out of the package. Put a little steam pressing on it and it was perfect. Has a thicker softer feel than most casual dress shirts. Ordered XL with the "regular" fit and it could be worn tucked or out without it looking overly blousy. SADLY, after a first wash on cold and tumble dry low, and pulled it out early and it shrunk by almost a full size!!! The sleeves, length of shirt and overall fittage shrunk so that now it fits like a snug large. I've never had a shirt shrink like this, hence, the one star off. I would have given it 2 stars off, but the original quality of the shirt is nice, just beware of the shrinkage factor. Don't put it in the dryer at all, only air dry it. I'm tempted to reorder another but just then never put it in the dryer.
