Farina heeft tien hectare eigen wijnperceel en werkt samen met bevriende wijnboeren van de familie Farina. De vrienden samen leveren het wijnhuis nog eens vijfendertig hectare wijngaard. Samen de traditie en Italiaanse cultuur hoog houden is iets waar ze met zijn allen hard voor werken. En dat merken we ook goed terug in deze rode Appassilento. Voor deze rode wijn wordt er gebruik gemaakt van drie druiven soorten namelijk Cabernet Sauvignon, Corvina en Merlot allemaal afkomstig uit de regio Veneto. De oude ranken geven de wijnakers echt prachtige trossen die perfect zijn voor de welbekende Appassilento wijn.Appassilento betekend rust
Met deze rode wijn wil Farina laten zien dat wijn maken vooral te maken heeft met rust. Dat heeft men heel letterlijk genomen want deze rode wijn krijgt en zeer lange rijping en twee maal zo lange vergistingsproces. Hierdoor is hij vol en rijp en wordt hij een beetje gezien als een mini Amarone. Als de druiven hun ideale rijpheid hebben gekregen worden ze gedeeltelijk met de hand geoogst en direct naar Farina gebracht. Bij aankomst worden alle trossen nogmaals gecontroleerd want enkel de beste trossen is goed genoeg voor deze rode wijn. In de geur veel zwart en rood fruit aangevuld met pruimen, kersen en toffee. De smaak is heel erg zacht en verfijnd, veel zwart fruit zoals bramen, kersen en bessen. Maar ook mooie nuances van pruimen, krentjes en chocolade.Shipping Notes

Roxy Collins is the queen of omegaverse slow burn. This particular series is omegaverse with wolf shifters.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Lots of suspense and trying to figure out what is true and what's really going on. I loved it!
Pretty spicy once the action starts. Heats are pretty much always spicy. There is a little bit of male interaction, but not full-on shmex.
Definitely recommend.

Epic!!!!

Absolutely addicted from the first page. The twists and turns, world building and character development all come together for the perfect Omegaverse. And let's not forget that spice because knots are life and these are spectacular. Running for book #2 because that cliffhanger was torturous.

Good start to a series

I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read

Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things

I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2.
Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
