Karton wordt gemaakt papierpulp en is vaak herkenbaar aan de natuurlijke uitstraling. Door de aangebrachte coating van PE is het product voedselveilig en vetvrij. Daarnaast is dit product vochtbestendig, smaak- en geurneutraal. Karton is een natuurlijk materiaal en heeft als groot voordeel dat het hernieuwbaar en recyclebaar material is en daarmee plastic afval tegengaat.
