Op zo’n vier kilometer van het Gardameer ligt het landgoed Selva Capuzzi. Het is vandaag de dag in handen van de familie Formentini en er wordt volledig op traditionele wijze wijn geproduceerd. Daarom is de wijnbouw hier uitsluitend beperkt tot autochtone druivenrassen. Het Cascina-complex dateert uit de 14e eeuw en het hoofdportaal werd het logo van Selva Capuzza. De Turbiana druiven staan aangeplant op een hoogte tussen 110 en 125 meter boven zeeniveau. De heuvelachtige hellingen bieden de perfecte omstandigheden, zo heerst er een perfect klimaat maar is ook de bodem rijk aan steen en klei. De druiven worden bij optimale rijpheid volledig met de hand geoogst en in kisten van 20 kilo naar de wijnmakerij gebracht. Hier worden de druiven voorzichtig geperst en de verkregen most wordt vervolgens gekoeld en geklaard. Hierna vindt de alcoholische gisting met geselecteerde gisten plaats in roestvrijstalen tanks. Tot slot worde de wijn ongefilterd gebotteld en blijft deze 18 maanden in de kelder rijpen.De geur en smaak van Selva Capuzza Selva Lugana
Wanneer we de Selva Vapuzza Selva Lugana inschenken valt ons direct de donkere gele kleur op. Daarbij kunnen we direct genieten van een heerlijk aroma. In de neus tonen van appel, abrikoos en ananas. Fruitig en tropisch tegelijkertijd, maar dat wordt ook nog eens aangevuld met hints van venkel en dille. Dankzij de lange vergisting heeft deze wijn deze volle en verassende geur verkregen. In de smaak is het direct duidelijk; hier hebben we te maken met een spannende complexe wijn. Een volle body met frisse zuren en tonen van abrikoos en venkel. Perfect size, high quality

I had a previous catch all tray that I bought on amazon, it used buttons on the 4 corners to turn a flat cardboard into a tray. Over time, the catch all tray got filled up, not just with a wallet, keys and eyeglasses but eventually business cards and other knick knacks. With all the items inside the tray, sometimes the buttons would start to pop out. It wasn't awful, more of an annoyance. But it was time for me to find a more durable tray. I looked on amazon and added 6 different trays that had "potential" into my shopping cart. Then I carefully evaluated each one and deleted them out of my cart until there was only one left. Some had multiple compartments. Some were larger than this one. I felt the ones with compartments would limit my ability to put the things I want in there. Also, I didn't want it so big that it took up too much desk space. Ultimately, I felt this was the perfect size. I'm extremely happy with it, the quality is really nice and it looks and feels durable. No more loose buttons and spilled knick knacks.
