Veel Hawaiiaanse tradities stellen dat de boom heilig is en wordt geassocieerd met

De Ohia-collectie is geïnspireerd op de gelijknamige bloemen (een heesterbloem) die van een immense schoonheid zijn die kunnen variëren van geel tot felrood. Veel Hawaiiaanse tradities stellen dat de boom heilig is en wordt geassocieerd met vele legendes. We noemen Ohia Lehua, de bloemengodin. Deze struikbloem groeit op het lavameer van Kilauea Iki.
