Een van de toonaangevende wijnhuizen in de Veneto is zonder twijfel Sartori. Dit familiebedrijf werd in 1898 opgericht door Pietro Sartori. Toen nog met het idee om zijn hotel te voorzien van goede wijnen. Zijn zoon Regolo wist het wijnbedrijf verder te laten ontwikkelen en aanzienlijk te groeien binnen de wijnwereld. Zijn investeringen hebben geleid tot modernisering maar ook zeker tot perfectionering waardoor de kwaliteit van de wijnen aanzienlijk is toegenomen. Ze bezitten in bekende classico zones wijngaarden en vinificeren klassieke wijnen maar ook moderne, jeugdige wijnen. De blend bestaat uit 50 procent Corvina Veronese, 30 procent Corvinon, 15 procent Rodinella en 5 procent Cabernet druiven. Deze druiven staan allemaal aangeplant op de heuvels van het noordelijke deel van Verona. De bodem bestaat uit klei en kalksteen en geven de druiven bijzondere eigenschappen mee. De druiven worden bij optimale rijpheid zorgvuldig geselecteerd en geoogst. In de wijnkelder drogen de druiven in kleine plastic kratten voor ongeveer drie maanden. Wanneer ze de perfecte droogheid hebben bereikt, volgt de persing en fermentatie. De temperatuur gecontroleerde fermentatie vindt plaats in roestvrijstalen tanks. Hierop volgt de gisting die ongeveer 30 dagen duurt en zorgt voor een hoog alcoholgehalte. De wijn rijpt minimaal 3 jaar in grote eikenhouten vaten na bottelen verfijnt de wijn op fles nog voor de duur van 6 maanden. Er verschijnt een zachte Amarone in het glas met een intens rode kleur. In de neus intense aroma’s van rood fruit. De smaak is vol en fluweelachtig met een goede intensiteit. Deze wijn is ideal in combinatie met vleesgerechten, wild en oude kazen.Shipping Notes

I don’t mind a cliffhanger,

but I dropped at least one star because of the obnoxious gloating of the author after the cliffhanger.
Seriously - I don’t understand making your readers angry because you’re smug and expecting them to keep reading your books.
I was very definitely enjoying the series. Now I have a bad taste in my mouth and mixed feelings about continuing the series.

The series as a whole so far 5/25

I read reviews before going into this book and I don't agree with one of the more harsh ones on the main trigger she had. It is stated clearly in the forward and it wasn't as blase as it was made out to be. It definitely is touched on more and hasn't just been brushed off as the series goes
I definitely would recommend reading it. It's a good series just be for-warned
I like the series as a whole. The characters are awesome I adore the fmc shes cute and adorable but also a badass. Though there are a bunch of holes for her that I feel like just got left out.
The guys are interesting and shout out to yall for not making Gage a dragon. I'm tired of the broody ones who don't wanna talk aboit what they are being Dragons. Ki is my favorite
You can definitely tell if is written by 2 different people though because the phrasing just doesn't match up and wouldn't be something people that age says. And it flip flops between them.
I feel like there's substance without substance. We are 4 books in and we don't really know much back story on literally anyone more than right under surface deep.
There are definitely favorite MMCs which is kind of disappointing since some get shoved to the wayside. Specifically both of the best friends. They're basically useless and it's made obvious as the books go on. As well as all the men are ungodly self deprecating.
I enjoy the plot line for the most part like I said I enjoy the series its different and refreshing.
I do feel like the series is being dragged out though unfortunately. And the latest cliff hanger was just meh. So hopefully the next book is the last one.

Wow!

This book was awesome! Seraphina and her family have moved to a new town. Her family is a bit... odd. She grew up learning how to protect herself from people who might hurt her. Bloodshed is a daily occurrence with her brothers and parents during their practice sessions, and it’s all fun and games unless you need to hide a body.
Sera’s family is very close, and she’s been homeschooled most of her life. But in this new town she is going to start regular school as a senior at the local high school. Unfortunately, things at her school aren’t all they seem to be. Or perhaps more than they seem to be. Sera has her own demons to deal with, and she’s terrified her new friends will learn about her weird family and other issues and drop her like a rock. It turns out they have their own secrets as well.
This story ends on a bit of a cliffhanger and I can’t wait to read the next one! This book is well written and well edited. The heroine is spunky and has a great heart and wicked sense of humor.

Addicting!

I could not stop reading. It was so refreshing to have a series start so completely different than most fated mates/fantasy academy rh I’ve been reading. From the desert scenery to the magic and feeding plus the psychological trauma the characters are there to deal with. Pandora is absolutely adorable and I totally relate to hiding behind my hair. I love that she’s literally the most scary type of demon but it’s not the usual “badass mc” persona (which I do love a badass that can fend for herself and kick ass from the start but it was a nice change of pace). I’m not usually a big fan of bully within the harem but each character has their reasons for their actions and also conflicting feelings about them. I adore Dex and Reed! Complete opposites but their personalities and inner monologues made them instant favs. I can’t wait to see the character growth with the guys and continued strength for Pandora.
The captivating characters and references to the Fate Hallow series added so much depth and now I need another reread while I wait for book 2. The concept of magic and the unique feeding habits of the demon characters were intriguing. I can't wait for the next book to continue this thrilling journey.
In summary, this book is a must-read for fantasy and magic academy rh fans. With its enchanting characters, nods to the Fate Hallow series, and imaginative concepts, it offers an immersive reading experience that hwill leave you craving for more.

Best academy I've read this year
Format: Kindle
I need a few things when it comes to a first book of a PNR romance series
1-Good world building (which this totally did)
2-An FMC I can root for (oh hell yes, Pandora is someone I can cheer for)
3-Good drama (can you say GROVEL BOYS!)
4-Enough story to make you feel like you really read something with meat (you saw this book is like 600 pages, yeah?)
5-A hook at the end so I want more! (please, Lyra, gimmie more?!? I need more!!)
Be aware this book is a slow burn, but damn do I feel like there'll be some big payoff when it finally happens. Who doesn't like the buildup?
