Verhaal
In een stille, bijna verstilde wereld vol bloesem en vergankelijkheid, wandelt een vrouw gehuld in een hemelsblauwe mantel langs de muur van herinnering. In haar handen draagt ze een zandloper – symbool van het onherroepelijke verstrijken van tijd. Maar dit is geen gewone reiziger... Zij is de vanger van verloren tijd.

Waar anderen hun kostbare momenten verloren achtten, verzamelt zij de vergeten seconden, de fluisteringen van vroeger, de tijd die tussen de vingers glipte. De vogels boven haar hoofd vliegen niet weg, maar keren terug – zoals herinneringen dat soms onverwacht doen. Tussen de bloeiende takken herleeft het verleden een zachte lente.

Firstly your introduced to Huntyr you see her closed off hard core badass than towards the end you see the most subtle change and growth it’s amazing and the enemies to friends to lovers was just perfect, AND THE TWIST AT THE END GOT ME GOOD! You see one spicy scene the whole book but it doesn’t even MATTER BECAUSE THE BOOK WAS THAT GOOD. I’ve read 85 books in 2023-2024 so far and I’m pround to say this is my all time favorite. I’m so excited to read more of Emily Blackwoods books, this was my first time reading one of hers and I’m glad I did because HOLY!! Well done Emily well done

The tension and banter between Huntyr and Wold was delectable. I absolutely love the fallen angel and all of his flaws. Huntyr is amazing too being a badass FMC with some major trauma. The world building was great and I enjoyed the training aspect of the story. The writing was immersive and was in the story the whole time. Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
