Je leert de belangrijke symptomen en alarmsignalen herkennen, evenals de risicogroepen die kwetsbaar zijn. Daarnaast maken we de pathofysiologie en het diagnostisch traject volgens de actuele richtlijnen inzichtelijk, en bespreken we de meest effectieve behandelmogelijkheden. Deze scholing stelt je in staat om de zorg voor patiënten met aortadissectie te verbeteren en tijdige, adequate interventies te bieden.

Wat leer je?  
• Wat is aortadissectie?
Je leert wat aortadissectie is, hoe deze ontstaat en welke onderliggende mechanismen betrokken zijn. Je herkent de klinische relevantie en het levensbedreigende karakter van deze aandoening.  
• Symptomen en alarmsignalen
Je leert de typische symptomen van aortadissectie herkennen, zoals acute pijn op de borst, rugpijn en andere alarmsignalen. Je oefent met het onderscheiden van deze symptomen van andere aandoeningen die acute pijn kunnen veroorzaken.  
• Diagnostisch traject
Bij verdenking van aortadissectie maak je kennis met het diagnostisch beleid, inclusief anamnese, lichamelijk onderzoek en aanvullend onderzoek zoals beeldvorming.  
• Behandelopties en zorgstrategieën
Je leert over de meest effectieve behandelopties voor aortadissectie, waaronder medicamenteuze behandeling en chirurgische ingrepen, en hoe je zorgstrategieën voor patiënten kunt implementeren.
