Installatie

🔴 Moeilijkheidsgraad: moeilijk · ~60 minuten. Open het toestel met Pentalobe P2- en Tri-point Y000-bits. Verder heb je een schermzuigtool, pleks, pincet en verse waterdichte sealtape nodig. Test het nieuwe scherm los voor je het vastlijmt.

Wat is een COP-proces?
COP (Chip-on-Plastic) buigt het flex-deel onder het paneel, waardoor de zichtbare rand smaller wordt. Dat geeft het scherm dezelfde uitstraling als het originele Apple-paneel.

Werkt True Tone na vervanging?
True Tone werkt vaak niet uit-de-doos met aftermarket-panelen. Met een speciale programmer of door de scherm-IC over te zetten kun je het gedrag dichter bij origineel brengen.

Wat is het verschil met een hard OLED?
Soft OLED gebruikt een buigbare flex en dunnere zwarte rand, dichter bij origineel. Hard OLED heeft een rigide paneel, iets dikkere bezel maar lagere prijs.
