Vul de schaal half met water en wrijf met natte handen zacht maar stevig over de handgrepen. Zo komt de resonantie tot leven, waardoor het water zachtjes begint te rimpelen en uiteindelijk omhoog spuit, tot wel 50 centimeter. Het vergt wat oefening, maar elk moment is het waard om deze bijzondere klank en beweging te ervaren.
