Rosso rubino con riflessi granato alla vista. Naso ampio che racconta di frutti rossi maturi e fiori macerati, su uno sfondo di grafite e spezie. Assaggio caldo e corposo, ravvivato da una vibrante acidità e sapido sul finale.

L’Etna Rosso DOC “Calderara Sottana” 2016 è prodotto con uve nerello mascalese in purezza provenienti dall’omonimo vigneto, caratterizzato dalla presenza di piante di oltre un secolo di età. Dopo la raccolta a mano è svolta la fermentazione in acciaio che prevede una lunga macerazione sulle bucce. Successivamente il vino è posto a maturare in legno per 15 mesi. Il tributo all’Etna della cantina Ayunta.

Rosso corposo da abbinare a secondi piatti a base di carni rosse e selvaggina.
