De Caten-tweeling Dean en Dan opgericht Dsquared2 in 1994 vanuit een mix van Canadese outdoorvibe en Italiaans vakmanschap. Die spanning is het meest zichtbaar in de uitgesproken grafische collectie, maar de polo laat een andere kant zien: een clean katoenen piqué-shirt met één detail dat het onderscheidt van de rest.

Op de linkerborst staat het 'DSQUARED2' logo in gegumde letters, zwart op wit, in een typografie die het merk al jaren consequent inzet. Het shirt zelf is gemaakt van 100% katoenen piqué in een regular fit met een button-fastening kraag, geribberde manchetten op de korte mouwen, zijslits aan de zoom en een licht verlengde achterzoom. Wit als kleur, wat het gegumde logo zijn maximale contrast geeft.

Dit is de polo voor wie de Dsquared2-taal kent maar hem in zijn meest terughoudende versie wil dragen. Eén logo, clean wit piqué, niets meer.
