Pickering Perfection PLZ Pre Preamp - MC step-up transformer

The Pickering PLZ is a vintage British-made MC step-up transformer—not a full phono stage. It connects to your existing MM phono input and allows the use of low-output MC cartridges by providing around 27 dB gain, a signal-to-noise ratio of approximately 85 dB, and a frequency response spanning 5 Hz to 150 kHz. The unit is enclosed in a fully shielded all-metal housing with dual gold-plated phono connectors and uses high-precision discrete components (no integrated circuits). It’s powered by 2 × AA batteries and features a common earth design. Originally designed to pair with Pickering XLZ cartridges or Stanton equivalents, it's valued for delivering clean, noise-free amplification for MC setups

Condition: 
  • This is a used unit. 

  • This unit is in good condition. It shows a small amount of wear from use and age. This includes some small nicks, scuffs and light scratches. Please see all photos. 

  • This unit has been thoroughly tested. We can confirm it is 100% functional.  

  • This unit powers on with 2 x AA batteries. It can easily be used anywhere in the world.
    Batteries are not included in the sale.

  • This sale is for the PLZ Pre Preamp only. Nothing else is included in this sale.

Hotel like pillow

Very soft, not firm at all
This pillow is very floppy and not firm at all. It is quite large and I was surprised at the size. My dog has taken a liking to it and decided it's now her new dig bed, which is fine by me, because it's really too soft for my liking. If you like soft pillows then this is for you. If you require something with a bit more support then you won't enjoy this pillow.

this pillow does work
For months my neck had been brothering me every morning when I woke up. Figured it was stress and I always planned on getting a massage. But I never did it. I ended up seeing this pillow on Amazon and got it. It was almost an instant 180. My neck pain is gone! This pillow is stuffed very full but isn't super firm. It's a bit hard to describe.
