Description

SE221 (Replaces some 3.0L V6, 2.6L I6 and 1.7L I4)The 221 gearcases fit three different types of engines. They are as follows: 3. 0 Liter V6 Two Stroke (13 spline drive shaft): (SEI 221 A20, 221 A25 AND 221 A30) Around 2006, these engines changed from using our SE216 units to our SE221s. This changed occurred at serial number 1B504989. The SE221 units are what we have been calling the Verado Style gearcases. There are some available gearcases that we do not replace. They are the Torque Master, Torque

The 221 gearcases fit three different types of engines. They are as follows:

3.0 Liter – V6 – Two Stroke (13 spline drive shaft):
(SEI 221-A20, 221-A25 AND 221-A30)
Around 2006, these engines changed from using our SE216 units to our SE221’s. This changed occurred at serial number 1B504989. The SE221 units are what we have been calling the “Verado Style” gearcases. There are some available gearcases that we do not replace. They are the Torque Master, Torque Master 2 and the Sport Master. These units all have the “Fat Shaft” prop shaft with 19 splines. The SE221 has a 15-spline prop shaft. The SE221 is considered the “standard” gearcase and may be referred to as a Fleet master.

2.6 Liter – Inline 6 Cylinder – Four Stroke (20 spline drive shaft):
(SE 221-A20F, 221-A25F, 221-A30F, 221-B20F, 221-B25F AND 221-B30F)
These engines are the larger horsepower Verado models. The SE221 will work on these units from 200 horsepower to 300. The SE221 gearcase is the replacement for the 4.8 Torpedo units only. We do not offer a replacement for the 5.44 Torpedo. There are larger horsepower models of the Verado, but the SE221 is not to be used on them. These units came originally with Torque Master, Sport Master or the 5.44 Torpedo lower units. Around 2019, Mercury came out with a family of V6 and V8 engines. Unfortunately, they decided to call them Verado. They do not have the same gearcases as the SE221. They also look the same as the SE221 from the outside. Remember the SE221 fits only the inline engines, not the V6 and V8 engines.

1.7 Liter – Inline 4 Cylinder – Four Stroke (20 spline drive shaft):
(SE 221-C20F AND SE221-C25F)
These engines are the small horsepower Verado models. They range from 135 horsepower to 200. They all have a supercharger. There are no optional gearcases for these engines other than standard or counter. No need to figure out if it came with a Torque Master. There are inline four cylinder, four strokes in this horsepower range that the SE221 will not work on. These engines do not say Verado on them and are not supercharged. Unfortunately, the lower units look exactly like the SE221 from the outside.
Does not include install kit or anode kit.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
