Invacare Aquatec Ocean Shower Commode Chair Self-Propel
The Ocean Shower Chair Self-Propel consists of the same features of the standard version, but with added 24" wheels. This provides easy and smooth movement when required in the bathroom. More movement allows the chair to be used for more purposes in the bathroom.
Features of the Ocean Shower Commode Self-Propel Chair
With the stainless steel frame of the standard version, the self-propel chair also has 24" wheels so movement requires no effort on the user's behalf. The quick release axles make it quick and safe to move, providing stability even when in use. The large wheels move easily on different surfaces.
It has four castors to ensure stability when in movement, along with the pan and lid and soft seat found with the standard version. It's features include:
Adjustable seat height and backrest with no tools required
Quick-release-axles ensure smooth movement
Swing away armrests adjustable to two different heights
Adjustable leg rests with heel loops
The stainless steel frame is secure and stable when in use but can be folded away for ease of storage when not required.
No tools are needed for any of the adjustments, for the backrest is adjusted by easy-to-use buckles. The footrests are textured to provide a sturdy grip and the heel loops mean there is no room for slippage when in position.
Storing the Ocean Commode Chairs
Despite having a stainless steel frame, the chair can be folded away when not in use. When extended out, the chair is stable and secure. The arm and footrests can be folded away to make it compact.
Technical Details
The standard Ocean has both a seat width of 480mm and a depth of 450mm. All other measurements are adjustable to the user. It weighs 19.5kg and has a load capacity of 150kg (23 stone).
The width between the wheels is 540mm.
It is available in white.
