The Argenta Pivotica satin stainless steel double action hydraulic heal pivot set with adjustable floor mounted plate is suitable for timber doors weighing up to 100kgs.
Thanks to its compact size the Pivotica is not only easy to mount in the door, the pivot hinge can also be installed in pivoting floor-to-ceiling-height doors, and can be opened in both directions to 150 degrees with built in hold-open at 90 degrees.
This item can only be used on a fire door if you have an electro-magnet holder fitted at 80 degrees to prevent the pivot from reaching the 90 degrees hold open position and use the FD30 Pivotica Pro intumescent kit.
The innovative pivot hinge even allows for the pivot point on the door to be chosen freely (At a minimum of 40mm from the side of the door); this way, wide doors can for instance rotate from the middle. The Pivotica is suitable for both Left and Right hand doors and does not require a door frame so the door can be aligned perfectly with the wall.
The Pivotica is preferably used in combination with their Magnotica, a contactless door magnet in order to keep the door in the closed position.
