As the successor to the hugely popular Debut Carbon EVO, the Pro-Ject Debut EVO 2 is an outstanding gateway to high-performance vinyl playback. Designed to blend superior sound quality, sleek aesthetics, and affordability, this turntable showcases Pro-Ject's years of expertise, making it a worthy addition to the prestigious Debut lineup.

Enhanced Damping

The Debut EVO 2 features a sturdy MDF plinth for reduced resonance and enhanced clarity. The heavy 1.7 kg die-cast aluminium platter has been reworked and precision balanced, it has a ring made of TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) on the inside that helps to dampen all resonances and thus minimize wow and flutter. This new platter even features a notch for the record label and together with the optional Record Puck E (available separately) the puck’s weight will press your record tightly against the platter.

Precision Placement with Adjustable Feet

Equipped with height-adjustable feet, the Debut EVO 2 ensures perfect levelling, enabling precise tracking by the tonearm and stylus. The design features three feet instead of four for superior dynamic balance and stability. Unlike plastic, these feet are crafted from durable metal for extra sturdiness.

Convenient Electronic Speed Control

Switching speeds is effortless with the Debut EVO 2’s electronic speed control. Instead of manually repositioning the belt, you can switch between 33 and 45 RPM with the push of a button.

Carbon Fiber Tonearm for Superior Tracking

Pro-Ject’s signature carbon fibre tonearm remains, but now boasts enhanced bearings for reduced friction. With incredible stiffness, this tonearm’s increased rigidity delivers outstanding sound quality with superb detail and a lifelike, immersive soundstage.

Optimised Pick IT MM EVO Cartridge

Specifically tuned for this turntable, the Pro-Ject Pick it MM EVO cartridge offers exceptional performance. Developed in collaboration with Danish cartridge experts Ortofon, the Pick it MM EVO utilises innovative technologies including split pole pins, which provide a smooth, natural sound with an impressively flat frequency response.

Premium Connection

The gold-plated RCA sockets on the Debut EVO 2 will always provide the best connection. The included Connect it Phono E RCA cable uses quality core materials like a copper conductor for a signal transmission without losses. This cable is a semi-symmetrical type, which means that the shielding is only connected on one end. Therefore, the yellow marked side should always be connected to the receiving end.

Improved Drive System

The premium belt-drive system features an in-house designed and manufactured AC drive motor, decoupled from the main chassis by TPE, powered by a sophisticated DC/AC power generator. This set-up allows for clean and stable power, resulting in excellent rotational stability and minimal vibrations. Speed change between 33 and 45 RPM is handled by a discrete power switch underneath the plinth. 78 RPM speed can be achieved with an optional pulley and drive belt change, available separately.

A choice of Finishes to Match Any Style

The Debut EVO 2 is available in ten distinct finishes to complement any décor. Choose from the sleek High Gloss Black, Red, or White for a polished look, or opt for a Satin finish in Black, Golden Yellow, Green, Steel Blue, White, or the new Satin Wine Red. For a more classic aesthetic, there's also a real Walnut Veneer option.
