Favia corals can sting neighbouring corals, stinging tentacles can reach a couple of inches past their base when extended so always give them a little space. When Favia's grow they form a skeletal base below the fleshy polyps, they follow roughly the contours of the rock without strictly encrusting it. Small polyps will apear around the edges as it grows.
Favia corals will do well in moderate flow and low to moderate light. Perfect for lower positions in the reef tank.
