Give thanks to YHWH, for he is good, for his covenant faithfulness endures for ever’ (Ps. 136:1; a.t.) There are now numerous models that seek to explain how the biblical covenants relate to one another. In an attempt to evaluate these models, James Hely Hutchinson mines the rich seams of the book of Psalms. After covering the key data on covenant relationships in Books 1–3 of the psalter, Hely Hutchinson considers the perplexity expressed in the pivotal Psalm 89: in the face of the exile, the promises to David appear to be null and void. The building blocks of the response lie with the first five books of the Bible, and chiefly with the inviolable character of the promises to Abraham (Book 4 of the psalter). However, if the Abrahamic covenant is to reach fulfilment, the problem of sin must be dealt with once and for all, and a glorious new-covenant regime must be established in which a host of covenants converge in their fulfilment. Central to this regime, which lies beyond the exile, is the eternal rule of David’s superior, righteous seed and son who is also a perpetual priest and a suffering servant (Book 5). Identifying new-covenant newness as ‘eschatological satisfaction (fulfilment)’ and ‘transcendent inauguration’, Hely Hutchinson tackles a range of matters that contribute to our understanding of the contours of redemptive history. The overall aim is to enhance readers’ grasp of God’s breath-taking salvation plan, ability to handle Scripture aright and worship of the Master.

______________

‘James Hely Hutchinson carefully traces the place of the biblical covenants within the book of Psalms, demonstrating both their importance for the canonical shape of the book and also why this matters for us today. Dog's favorite toy!
Color: Blue
My dog asks for this toy everyday and sometimes she wants to play with it when it's not vibrating but the shaking feature makes it extra fun for her, but it does require daily charging. She actually fetches sometimes with this toy which is a new development in her play. I take it outside on the grass with her and also inside on the laminate flooring. I like the time out feature so it's not always moving too! Definitely a fan of this product and I hope it lasts a long time for my dog.

Only vibrates...
Color: Blue
It only vibrates. My dog enjoys it, but it doesn't spin or do what you would expect it to do. I essentially bought my dog a vibrator...

Great dog toy
Color: Blue
My dog loves this interactive ball. It is made with great material and the quality is good. It is rechargeable and it's great to take to dog park and also out in my back yard. My dog enjoys it so much . The battery life is great and it is chew resistant. It don't make much noise and that's a good thing. Size is just right for my dog.

PUPPY APPROVES
Color: Orange
Fun interactive toy. I felt this was a little pricey but watching my puppy playing with it is priceless. She flings it all over the room. As a puppy she chews on it a lot because of teething but there still isn’t a mark on it. Battery lasts a very long time and requires no replacement batteries just a usb connection. It is a little noisy so sometimes I let her play with it without turning it on. All told, it is one of her favorite toys. She is 4 months and weighs 7 pounds, just to give you an idea if it will work for your dog.
