Ті, хто підтримують Володимира Зеленського, вважатимуть цю книгу занадто критичною, а ті хто проти нього – компліментарною. Саме тому ця книга варта уваги.

Шоумен – це фактично перша – відсторонена, наскільки це взагалі можливо – спроба описати саме особистість Зеленського, яка, без сумніву, зіграла ключову роль у подіях 2022 року і продовжує її грати зараз.

Багато з тих, хто пам’ятає, як він танцював на сцені КВК у шкіряних штанях, грав попсових героїв у новорічному кіно та будував багатомільйонний бізнес на політичній сатирі, ніколи не питали себе, а що ж він за людина. Але відповідь саме на це питання має значення, коли починається велика війна.

Шоумен – це не просто біографія Володимира Зеленського. Це книга про дитинство у Кривому Розі, КВК, російський шоубізнес, антисемітизм та ментальну прірву, що розділяє Україну та Росію. Ця книга дає певне розуміння того, як Зеленський співіснував із російськими наративом про Україну та про нього самого.

Мабуть, того Зеленського, про якого пише Саймон Шустер у першій половині книги, вже не існує. Скоріш за все, він давно переродився у того, хто веде переговори із президентами США, свариться із європейськими міністрами та віддає накази генералам та полковникам і несе відповідальність за тисячі життів.

Змінились й українці — ті, хто голосував за нього 2019 року і ті, хто виступав проти.

Ті, хто залишились у Києві 24 лютого 2022 року, відчуватимуть те, що називається 'спільним досвідом', читаючи главу про столицю тієї весни.

Ті, хто опинились у оточеному Маріуполі — відчуватимуть, скоріш за все, злість. Ті, хто втікав за кордон, рятуючи дітей, також проваляться у свої спогади, тодішні надії та сподівання. Сприйняття тих самих слів та речень буде сильно відрізнятись в залежності від того, що трапилось з вами та вашими близькими за час великої війни.

Так завжди, коли читаєш книгу про своє життя, яку написав хтось інший. Хтось, хто наче і розуміє твою мову, але, записавши кілька інтерв’ю, повертається до свого безпечного дому, де завжди є електрика.

I wonderfully versatile athletically fitting summer polo

Don't really have any down sides on this polo. It's lightweight yet surprisingly wind resistant, even on cooler days im not losing all my body heat at the slightest breeze. It feels more like a cotton blend while performing like a polyester with the stretch and drying performance. The fit is very athletic, with just enough room in the chest and shoulders while hugging close to the midsection. This polo is quality both in looks, with the collar holding shape and appearance, the faux chest pocket ups the look of the shirt without being a clunky piece with a pocket that bunches up. Im thrilled with this polo and am buying more colors to have variety with this shirt. Wonderful wonderful value for the money if you're looking for a versatile close fitting shirt without hindering mobility

Great shirt with a couple of very insignificant flaws

Stylish, breathable, great fit, vibrant color, nice attention to detail with the colorway. Check out my photos for a look at the way the pocket colors and fabrics match that of the collar button, and the tiny perforations in the main fabric that allow you to stay cool in this shirt. There are a couple of spots where you can see flaws, but they're not significant enough to me to deduct a star. The flaws are the thread sticking out of the button, and how the collar has a bit of an indentation in it and isn't totally level smooth. It's hard to figure out how to iron the collar without creasing it in a bad location, so this is the way it looks after ironing with my best effort. All in all, as I've found with the Alex Vando brand, I enjoy their polo/golf shirts a lot - the fit, look, pretty much everything.

Comfortable summer wear. Runs a little big and long

This is a very comfortable polo. I can tell from the features that the shirt is pretty much designed for golf. - Very light weight like tees for runners. It is see through if not for the printed pattern. - Definitely breathable, perfect for dry weather region. Will keep you dry throughout the round and does not cling onto the body to inhibit motion. Structure stays crisp throughout the round. - Stretchable, does not restrict motion during golf, sweat or not. - Longer length to stay tuck in. Note: - It runs big overall. The model shown is 6’1” and he is wearing a Medium. Seeing that, I bought a Small even though I normally wear medium. It fits my upper body perfectly with a little room to spare. - It also runs a little long. It will definitely stay tucked in throughout the round. However, it is too long for me to wear it untucked. I am 5’ 8”. Overall I like the shirt’s quality and a reasonable price for a golf shirt. It would have been perfect had it not been a little long for untuck wear.
