Optimize Your Energy Storage with Lynx Smart 500A BMS M8 for Victron Lithium Batteries

Discover the pinnacle of battery management with the Lynx Smart BMS, designed exclusively for Victron Lithium Battery Smart series. These high-efficiency Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries come in 12.8V and 25.6V across various capacities, perfect for diverse energy needs.

Versatile Configuration for Maximum Power: Configure these batteries in series, parallel, or series/parallel combinations to build a robust battery bank for 12V, 24V, or 48V systems. With a capacity to integrate up to 20 batteries, achieve impressive energy storage of up to 84 kWh in a 12V system and up to 102 kWh in 24V and 48V systems.

Feature-Rich BMS Solution: The Lynx Smart BMS stands out as the most comprehensive and advanced BMS available, seamlessly integrating into the Lynx Distributor system.

Advanced Safety and Control Mechanisms:

  • Built-in Contactor: Acts as a secondary safety system, doubling as a remote-controllable main system switch.
  • Pre-Charge Circuit: Prevents high inrush currents, simplifying your setup by eliminating the need for external pre-charging.

Monitoring and control

Monitor and control the BMS via Bluetooth using the VictronConnect App or a GX device such as a Cerbo GX and the VRM Portal. A built-in battery monitor that operates in a similar fashion as the other Victron Energy battery monitors, provides data such as state of charge, voltage, current, historical data, status info and more in real time, and with Instant Readout even without the need to connect to the BMS, allowing diagnostic at a glance.

Intelligent System Integration:

Compatible Victron inverter/chargers and solar chargers are automatically controlled via a connected GX device and DVCC. The ATC/ATD contacts can be used to control other chargers and loads that have a remote on/off port.

Programmable relay

The relay can be used either as an alarm relay (combined with the pre-alarm) or to control an alternator via its external regulator (ignition cable). In Alternator ATC mode, the relay will only activate when the contactor is closed. Alternator ATC contact of the alternator opens first and then with a delay of 2 seconds the contactor. These 2 seconds ensure that the alternator is switched off before the battery is disconnected from the system.

AUX Terminal

The advantage of the onboard auxiliary power supply (1.1 A @ system voltage) is to provide power to specific loads (i.e. a GX device) after the BMS has shut down the loads in the event of a low cell voltage event. If no charge voltage is detected within 5 minutes, the BMS including the AUX connection switches off.

VE.Can and NMEA 2000 data communication

VE.Can allows for easy connection (standard RJ45 network cable) and communication with a GX device. Since the CANbus protocol is based on NMEA 2000 (and J1939), it is easy to integrate into a marine network and feed your marine MFD with data (requires a VE.Can to NMEA 2000 micro-C male cable).

Lynx Distributor fuse monitoring

Read out fuse status and receive an alarm in case a fuse is blown. The Lynx Smart BMS monitors up to 4 connected Lynx Distributors and their fuses via VictronConnect or a GX device

1) To reduce required balancing time, we recommend to use a little different batteries in series as possible for the application. 24 V systems are best built using 24 V batteries. And 48 V systems are best built using two 24 V batteries in series. While the alternative, four 12 V batteries in series, will work, it will require more periodic balancing time.

Very Well Made
The Hiware Bamboo Heavy Duty Chopping/Cutting Boards Set is a popular kitchen accessory that offers a practical and eco-friendly solution for chopping, cutting, and slicing various ingredients. Here is a review of the product: 1. Design and Construction: The set includes four extra-large cutting boards made from high-quality bamboo, which is known for its durability and natural resistance to water and bacteria. The boards are pre-oiled, which helps to enhance their lifespan and maintains their appearance. The thickness and sturdy construction make them suitable for heavy-duty use in both residential and commercial kitchens. 2. Size and Versatility: The extra-large size of these cutting boards provides ample space for cutting large quantities of meat, vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients. Additionally, the set includes different-sized boards, allowing you to choose the one that suits your specific needs. The boards can also double as serving platters due to their attractive design.

Great didactic material for preachers.
Format: Hardcover
This is a great book that provides a detailed structure with logical points. I believe it's a great tool for people aspiring to preach and also for long time preachers. Even though not everybody has a structure style, I will still consider that I must read for people that wants to do good sermons.

Purchase if you want to learn how to Preach Biblically!
Format: Hardcover
While studying Christian Ministries at Emmanuel College in GA. I was required to read Grasping God's Word by J. Scott Duvall and J. Daniel Hays for my Biblical Interpretation class. That book was so influential to my understanding on how to exegete Biblical passages. When I heard that there was a book to help me proclaim God's Word that followed the same methods, I had to purchase it. After reading the first chapter I had to email my past Professor and recommend it. Carter, Duvall, and Hays have done an excellent job equipping ministers to biblical prepare sermons that will connect with their congregations. I would highly recommend this book along with Grasping God's Word it you sense a call into the ministry or if you are Professor or Minister who teaches Homiletics/Preaching.

Just Right!
Format: Hardcover
Now in its second edition, this book by Terry G. Carter, J. Scott Duvall, and J. Daniel Hayes lives up to its subtitle: a hands-on approach to preparing, developing, and delivering the sermon. It strikes me as a success because of its clear value as a first textbook for someone learning how to put together a sermon. It does better than most at keeping a big-picture view as it assembles the pieces of the sermon. There are other books that, perhaps, dive deeper into the details – the works of Jerry Vines comes to mind – but this one may be “just right” for a wide array of readers. The book is divided into three parts: eight chapters on developing and preaching a sermon, three chapters on preaching the New Testament, and four chapters on preaching the Old Testament. Duvall and Hays had earlier produced a hermeneutics textbook entitled Grasping God’s Word, which is also published by Zondervan, so this book assumes an understanding of hermeneutics and goes straight into putting together a sermon after that work has been done. The first chapter introduces their 11-step sermon process. Chapter 2 covers the first five steps: grasp the meaning of the text in their town, measure the width of the interpretive river, cross the principlizing bridge, consult the biblical map, and grasp the text in our town. As you can see, they word this information in practical terms aimed at our maximum understanding. Again, they avoid being either too shallow or too deep and succeed at being “just right”. After all that wonderful help for putting the sermon together, the other two parts on the Old and New Testaments look at the genres and their unique challenges for the preacher found in each. Most of these were wonderful. The value of the chapter on preaching Revelation might correspond to your own prophetic viewpoint. Actually, they tell you that that might be the case when you preach the Book of Revelation. If you’ve been called to preach and are trying to figure out how to put a sermon together, you owe it to yourself to check this book out. I received this book free from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.
